Coach Profile: Georgia

Get to know Georgia, one of our valued coaches at CrossFit Wrexham.

Why did you decide to become a coach at CrossFit Wrexham?

I've been coaching from the age of 14. I started with gymnastics, until 2024 when I started working as a fitness coach at Total Fitness, to broaden my experience. It's something I enjoy doing as I like to see others progress and improve, so when the opportunity to coach at CrossFit Wrexham came up, I jumped at the chance. CrossFit and Weightlifting is my personal preferred style of training, so it was always the type of coaching I wanted to move into.

What are your goals as a coach?

I would like to progress through the levels of CrossFit coaching, so that I'm always gaining knowledge to use in classes. I would also like to specialise in coaching CrossFit gymnastics as I've had years of experience competing and coaching in the sport.

What is your favourite CrossFit workout?

Chelsea:

EMOM 30
5 pull ups
10 push ups
15 squats

I like this workout as it's challenging and something I can keep working on. I'm determined to finish the whole EMOM RX in the near future.

What are your training goals for 2025?

I've recently competed in Olympic Weightlifting and would like to continue competing throughout the year.

What are your favourite things to do outside the gym?

I love the outdoors and sunny holidays, any excuse to book a holiday and I will use it! Going out for food and trying new places to eat is almost a hobby for me too!
